Des Moines IA "SHUT DOWN GUANTANAMO"  Jan 11, 2008

Twenty people joined a 30 minute silent vigil in front of the Federal
US Court House in Des Moines this afternoon in solidarity with a
contingent of Iowan's who went to Wash DC for the International Day of
Action to Shut Down Guantánamo  www.WitnessTorture.org . There were a
number of High School represented including, Dowling Catholic, DM
Roosevelt, Ames HS, DM Scavo HS and Indianola HS along with students
from the DMACC
